It even helps to pull the trim and molding off the walls and floor to get air circulating in between the inner walls and outer walls.

This could take several weeks to get dried up. Depending how much saturation of water got into your walls. Getting the inner walls dried and hopefully the studs dry will go a long way to prevent black mold from forming in between your walls.

How to get rid of mold caused by water damage depends a lot on how long the water has been left standing and how quickly you were able to take action in getting rid of any standing water and how thoroughly you were able to get all the moister out.
